Ok. Good News.

So, work has ceased for a few days, and I (Austin) finally took the time to put up some of the family pictures we have taken in the past months.

Alright. Bad News.

Liam isn’t bald anymore. These pictures are outdated. Babies will do that to you, you know.

More RECENT photos to follow.

Every night Liam goes through the routine of getting really happy and excited (and wiggly) right before passing out and falling asleep. The pictures below are some that we took right before he fell asleep.

Due to the tropical storm my (Austin) work’s beach offices were evacuated, and since our apartment is close enough to the water, we decided to pack up and head down to Gainesville to stay with Katelyn’s parents through the weekend. I snapped some beach pictures outside my office before leaving town.

See the first umbrella? That’s where the waves usually stop.

This is my office, you can’t get much closer to the beach, which is nice on days when a hurricane isn’t coming.

Here’s a better angle for reference.

When we were in Pace recently, our parents scheduled a family photo out at the beach because we all happened to be in town at the same time. Of course, as we were heading out to the beach a large black cloud started to form and threatened our family photo plan. Fortunately, however, we were able to snap about 20 to 30 pictures of us out at the beach.

Here is one of them. What you don’t see is the raging storm we were looking at in this picture.

Main lessons learned from the excursion: 1) Getting 7 people to look good at the same time is no easy task, especially with a 2 month old. 2) Austin and lightning don’t mix.

Oh….wait… that’s right… Ben-Ben doesn’t do pictures.

You know…it’s only a matter of time….we’ll get you.

I must say, this was one of Liam’s favorite spots while in Pace. He really missed his “Nonnie” when we got back to Jacksonville.
